evo not charging

    i have checked the stator and have good AC output there, but battery isnt charging. looked for the output from the rectifier and followed the wire and it goes to a small block with 2 terminals mounted on the front of the rear mud guard.

    what is this??

    regulator is fuked
    and the block is probley the circuit braker check both sides for volts going in and battery side

    yeah cheers  i susspect it is, just didnt know that little block thing existed till today. and ive had it apart enough times  lol

    I had to replace the stater plug on the front of the motor, the female plug wore out! bad contact wouldn't charge my battery!

    keep the plug clean & spead the male so its a tight in the female,having bike's is like having sex

    I ended up removing the plug! extended the wires up towards the regulator, put a couple of good connectors on! had to take the primary and compensator off! used the old plug covers to keep a seal on the cases and presto like sex!
