Hi Guys Dreamer here with a small dream. I just want to change my single light on my fat bob with hid globes and Yanki style fat bob headlights means i want to light up my both globes instead of one. I found this while i was searching on the net, here is the link Here's how to get both lights lit on a Fat Bob - The Harley-Davidson Riders Club Great Britain. Thats the cheaper option but cant buy all that stuff now because that shop is no longer in operation. So i just want your guys opinion if u have done that change on ur bike how did you do it and where did u buy that. Please help me out here. Thanks

    Cheers

The thing to remember is that from the 2012 model FXDF onwards the computer will notice if there is too much currant draw by running 2 headlights on high or my guess on low beam. The system will show a fault as it believes that there is a problem. That is what happened to me. So I am now running the US light setup. One light runs off the original wiring and the second light runs off two relays, problem solved. They work great. I connected my power from the battery to the orange wire, the park light, to feed the second light. I did this so that I did not have to play around with the plug at the back of the lights. The relays fit nicely inside the light housing. Remember to use an inline fuse for the power to the relays. Oh yes, you will also need to get 2 H13 plugs for the new bulbs. Cheers

These bikes also have a running light which is on all the time. I swapped the power on wires from the low beam and the running light so on low beam the one headlight and running light are on, and when I switch to high beam the low beam and high beam lights are on instead of the high beam and running light as in standard form. For roadworthy purposes I have a low and high beam. And when I want to run both lights I switch to high beam.
Problem solved. No error code, no problem.

Hey mate just wondering how that module works is it just a plug and play thing to make both lights work of do you still need the us reflectors? The link you put up is in German so I can't make heads or tails of it. Cheers

Hey Ces66. I had it that way for a few months. Had no dramas. But decided to change to the Dominators for both on high and both on low.
