This has to be one of the harder jobs I'm doing on my bike!!

i don't recon it's been off for the life of my 91 softail, tried centre punch and 5 pound hammer, they will not budge!!!

will use the propane and impact driver over the week end!!! Barsted of a job F@&k!!!!

Last time I did it I snapped an Allen key and then just welded some bolts on and got them off that way. Rotor was fucked anyway so I didnt care.

they will be loctited in for sure, a little heat, tighten loosen, tighten loosen type action usually works, if it's an allen head go get a descent inhex drive for your 1/2" drive breaker bar
    good luck with it

Breaker bar or impact driver (my choice) with a good bit. Never had to resort to heat, but better to get the fuckers off than to make it harder.

finally removed all 5 bolts, the last bolt had to have a nut welded to it corse it stripped! just waiting for the new rotors to arrive!

new disks arrived, new brake pads thrown in, damn lucky I changed the rear rotor! On inspection I found a hair line crack about 5mm long on the back side, the bike has done 98,000kms and im sure they were the original rotors,

I've thrown in a couple of pics, the finished product.....i'm farking happycool

she looks awesome. youd never pick her for a 91 based on condition.
