Got some new Dri Rider gear today Jacket and Pants, what do you blokes wear under this stuff, they are fully waterproof and

have the quilted liner, rode up the hwy a bit to test them out and got back sweating my arse off, it was cold out but not too bad.

I thought i would try them with my thermal merino pants, maybe better with no thermals just jocks.

That is a good question cause I also just bought a pair of Dririder Blizzard two pants.
Im going to try wearing jeans without the liner and work from there.

I just bought a new Dririder jacket and have found a marino thermal vest and long sleeve tee is plenty and have had a couple of early morning cool rides lately. Still wearing my old waxed cotton pants(30 yrs old) with jeans underneath has done the job.

With the quilted liner in the pants , just jocks . With the quilted liner in the jacket , a t shirt , or if its really cold , a long sleeve t shirt .

Long Johns and long sleeve Tshirt is usually enough. Might add another layer this weekend, but it can get quite warm if you're just standing around.

My jacket is a Dri Rider Apex2, I wear a shirt under it and find on cold days I can feel a chill on my arms. No biggie, but I'll be wearing a long sleeve T under my shirt on the cold ones...

I wear boxers and a tee shirt

I went a couple rides in the rain thinking they were waterproof

until I was riding home from Adelaide and by the time I got to Pt. Pirie, I felt the tide roll in, from the base of my balls, the water rose, it is the worse thing on a wet day

I also have holes in the right leg from the exhaust

I always found Dri-rider too warm for general riding. Take the thermal liner out and they are better.

If you aren't planning on walking around in whatever you're wearing underneath stuff like Under Armor or any similar fabrics as a base layers will work. lots of racers wear under armor under their leathers in hot weather.

I have bought this gear for our ride to Adelaide tomorrow in the rain so no chance to try it out, whatever I choose

to wear underneath in the morning I will suffer with until the first fuel stop at Stawell or Horsham.

Geezuz ! thought it was a moral to see the kinky shit come out in replies to this one Mickle, you've done well mate, straight answers all round.

Looks like just standard old straight type under wear is the go, shorts and a long sleeve tee.

Gotta be able ta get some " out there " " impress the crowd " stuff just in case ya get ta show off down the track and let everyone in on why ya got a grin from ear ta ear !

    Have a good one Cobber.

How ya goin guys, i rode to work this week in minus 2 , have got dri rider nordic pants with liner and just wear jocks , and under the jacket just a jumper , but in rain i always wear the dri rider 1 peice rain suit , its a pain in the arse gettting on and off ,  but i have ridden in some bloody heavy rain and have stayed dry as a bone , worth every cent , just have to watch them exhaust pipes , that melt holes in the leg if you slightly touch them , Walyes

i'd reckon so.. I use one as well and they are the ducks guts for staying dry. Bit of a pain to get on & off but worth it. They do tend to high light how good your gloves and boots are though.

I bought mine big enough to go over my normal riding clobber. Think this is my third one now.

    G'day,

did the same yesterday, 5/1/16,, and ended up wet but not soaked.

Today, 6/1/16, slightly damp,  but where is it leaking ? This is a one piece suit and I was wet around the crotch and lower legs.

So, what is the answer ?
