Streetbobs don't seem to be going any cheaper (relative to purchase price) than any other Harley. In fact I think the prices have risen over the last year since new imports aren't such a huge issue. Maybe I've looked at the wrong time, or you've looked at the right time...

Mine vibrates a bit, but nothing that worries me. It is meant too, since the force from a vibrating engine has to somewhere and that's what rubber mounts are for.

If it's really bad you can put the bike upright (use a brick or wood under the stand and having a person there to hold the bike just in case helps) then use a jack under the engine to take it's. weight. Then remove the bolts from the front rubber mount, add few washers between the rubber and the frame, replace the bolts and you'll find it vibrates way less. Don't go fucking nuts with the washers because, like I said, it's meant to vibrate.

There is a top mount under the tank that have been known to come loose on these dynas

Try a Sputhe positrack that will do wonders for the handling of your Dyna and will strengthen your mounts
