Thought I would post this up for you guys to have a look at

It is my 120r with 3 different cams, everything else has stayed the same ie Pipe, aircleaner and engine specs.

Just one thing to Not the SS625 cam is untuned only Vtuned and was very rich at 100% and the Dyno Operator believed 1/2 dozen HP easy with a tune. the Tman662 and SE 266 both were tuned.

The Tman cam out performed the SS and SE cam but with a good tune the SS625 would easerly out perform the SE266 so for a small cam I think its a excellent performer

Good one Ando. The numbers look good for the S&S cams with just a VTune. Gives me an idea of what to expect from my 120" when I do some serious Vtunes. - Rob

Also don't study numbers as a point of reference as its common knowledge that Thundertechs dyno is about 10% on the conservative side

you changed the injectors as well as the cam?

Ando good numbers, bit hard to compare those three cams as they are all STD not SAE so all have different correction factors. thats why they have SAE so weather setting the same. just thought i would point it out. not sure why but all the dyno printouts i see now in Australia are STD & never see a timmed Dyno

but they can do it with the software in dj 250i

when i used to go to the track about every week, i never touched my tune at all but would see a higher or lower trap speed sometimes & if it was a big difference one week from the next in trap speed the air quality was always better. you cam with most HP has the best air quality of the three.

Yeh Krash I only been to the Drag strip with the untuned SS625 Cams and got to the high 11s I now have lost 40kgs and are looking forward to next summer to go back, I will have some more compression and a more of a HP cam with more lift to so should be good fun

Thats it Ozy, i like seeing what tune can get the most TQ & HP in 3 seconds but with that much power things happen even quicker at the track so 2,5 seconds

 

Krash then you might like this one, 2500 - 11500, I wouldn't normally start a run that low but I wanted to see if the way it feels is the way it really is. 5th gear

I usually launch it between 5000 and 6000 depending on the day, 6k is right at 125hp

hi guys , down my way average temp dureing day 8-14 c and not dry air , , to read up on both settings , std would be the correct one to use here ,

T-man looks great in the middle. Doesnt drop off that much either.
