    Hi...whats is the largest and best performance trye.. front and rear.. to fit a 2014 model 48 on a standard rim.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I wouldn't go any wider on the front, but that's just me.

    You can run a 170/70 on the rear with stock width wheel. Lot of guys running the Shinko's in that size, fill out the guard, no clearance issues and appears to stay stuck to the rim.

    Hi Brash....should the rear shock be changed to accommodate and if so.. make and length without losing height.... thanks.

    Standard rear shock will be fine mate.

    Enjoy the new tyres, because the standard ones are pretty crap haha.

    YEP!...the standard tyre is crap...I thought it might have been the shocks...or the set up of the bike,hence I was looking at the shocks....I will make the change and let you know the difference....once again...many thanks.

    pirelli night dragon hands down is the best tyre.

    hi... Pirelli night dragon largest size to fit a standard 48 rear rim...I am currently on Michelin Scorchers that came with the bike from new...I don't know if is me but they would have to be the most dangerous tyre in the wet...I shit myself everytime there a drop and head for cover....thanks for the help.
