How many of you have spongey front nissin calipers?
I found a way to get some lever back on them. Just push the caliper to re seat your seals on the pistons and pump the lever back up.
The best way is to grip the disk with your finger tips and put the ball of your hand on the caliper and squeeze the caliper to the disk (not to far as you are only squaring up the seal and not putting in new pads). This will force the pads apart and square the seal up against the piston. Then just pump your lever back up (will take a few pumps) and you should have a firmer lever and much better front brakes. Just watch your first stop as you would be used to a crap lever and will not have to use so much lever.
You may have to do it twice but will give you a much better stopping bike. Well it does for me anyway.
Good luck with it. Cheers Phillthy
