Hi,
Does anyone know what Harley do to upgrade their SE 110B engines that they put in the CVO’s or is it a standalone unit for the CVO models ???
Does the 110 come standard with SE 255 cams ?
Thanks
Not sure what you mean ? The CVO 110 is the same as the SE 110 (stg 1) . Yes - SE255 cams.
Edit: - There is a 110 stg3 race kit with higher comp' + SE259
Thanks guys that does help a bit, yes that question was a bit how ya goen but it all seems fine when its bouncen around in my head, to many Whisky’s I think lol.
What I think I’m looking for is, If the SE 110 is stage 1, what goes into it (besides cash) to make it a stage 2 or a stage 3 and what sort of output gains do you get ?
As far as the cam goes, if the 255 is standard in a 110, is it an option for other motors like a 103 or do they have a 255 as standard as well ?
Maybe tell us what you want to achieve ?
Dowload the catalogue, and you will have the knowledge:

Thanks Guys the last two posts got me to were I needed to be.
I have 2 CVO's , a 2008 CVO Springer and a 2013 CVO Breakout Springer has 255 cams as stock ( all CVO's do , it's called the CVO cam !) and is tuned with TTS Breakout has an " 1800 Pro-upgrade kit " which is 10.5:1 pistons , 259e cams and an SE Supertuner. Fitted from brand spanking new by the HD dealer Springer has V&H Big Shot Staggered exhaust system with the "power chamber" or crossover that connects the downpipes Breakout has Freedom Performance true duals , " Freedom Performance Declaration Turnouts" to be precise The Springer is a " Torque Monster" , down to the 255 cams and the "Power chamber". Pulls like a train but runs out of puff by 5000 RPM The Breakout has less torque low in the revs , but flies up top , 4500 RPM plus. Makes power to 6300 RPM like a Ducati. That's the high comp' pistons and the 259e cams I ride them one day at a time , then use the other next trip , so i can truly compare them , and each have merit. The Springer has far better " roll-on" torque and power so in freeway traffic etc it's actually " quicker " to hustle along On open road country runs the Breakout has the edge for sure , top end rules out there And for what it's worth BOTH can SPANK my mate's 2011 with the stage 4 103 Kit ( albeit that's a Streetglde which is heavier but has no Balance system to sap power !) Hoping that helps you a wee bit ?
Handy info Retroman thanks
