Fatbob with a rake

    Hello guys/girls,,I'm lookin at doin a mod to ride I have a 2013 fatbob and I'm wanting to put a 3 degree rake with 2" over tubes!!would anyone have a clue on the cost for the trees n tubes???

    Not sure what the rake is in wide glide trees but the tubes are 2" longer than the Fatbob...

    Hate to sound like a fuddy-duddy, but I believe these can stuff up the rake and trail geometry and set you up for nasty high speed instability.

    Good onya Deadwood, I am looking at the picture and thinking, that rake don't look like any different from Stock. MMM, then I saw ya bloody rake. LOL

    I have a 2009 FatBob and have just fitted wide glide fork tubes.

    Not back on the road yet , bit of work happening.

    fork tubes are 65 mm longer and that costs you about a $1 per mm

    standard tubes are about $103 ea and wideglide fork tubes about $170 ea

    Few similar mods on the US forums but havnt seen any doing triple trees as well

    No mention of problems with trail with just the fork tubes

    I think Chriso changed his tubes to Wideglide tubes and by all accounts no one can keep up with him so the handling must still be ok...

    Maybe chop the frame and bend it out , weld in a filler bit to get the desired geometry, similar to TV biker build off's ! .... fat bob chopper ?

    Veteran and performance poster,,I've ridden my mates FB with this set up and it handles awesome at high and low speeds corners awesome to feels so much better
