I'm surprised with the power output from the 500cc is this low but no doubt its not breathing very well. What's the plan on reaching 50 + HP pipes, air cleaner, cams, heads ?

The power is not that bad from 500cc when compared to a stock 883.

    The 750 looks a little better, from Cycleworld.com :

I do not think the 500cc version is going to get to 50+ Hp without getting deeper into it. There is power to be had, and we're in the middle of testing it now with a 750 version linedup next. I had hoped that HD would have done better but it is what it is and time will tell how it's going to hold up.

I think 150kw per ton... I got mine in the old 250cc or under days.

Here are the baselines from the 750 version of the "Street". It's at least better and a little closer to the competitors but still comes up a little short.

Interesting it shows the same lumpy torque curve as the Cycle world dyno.
I wonder if the torque dip around 2700/4500 rpm is built in for a reason (noise ?)
The HP is nice and linear.

Both the 500 and 750 have the same shape torque curve. In the 500 we were able to solve it but we do not know yet on the 750. Should have more answers in about a weeks time as we continue development on these models.
