Hi Guys its nice to meet you all. My mum doesnt ride much anymore so she has given me her 2001 (i think?) sportser 883 Hugger. I realy love the look of both the forty-eight and the nightster. 

What are some things I could do to the bike to make it have more of an upright look if you know what I mean. Would 48 handlebars fit easily onto it?

Also, any recomendations for someone around Sydney who could sell and fit these mods for me would be great.

I have only joined the forum and havent looked around much so feel free to get into me for not searching for this topic before posting.

I bought my bike and have had my stage 1 upgrade done by Sy's H-D at Campbelltown and have nothing but good things to say for them. I'd try there.

As for the mods, I think you could get drag bars to fit an 01' 883.

Ok so Drag bars are the ones im looking for!....thanks heaps Ill look around. I should probably figure out the exact model and find the correct parts.

Gidday Beau and welcome. The 48 and the Iron have the same bars stock. They call them drag bars but strictly they are just low rise bars. Heaps for sale on eBay if you look around. True drag bars are flat with a bit of pull back only. You can get them genuine from Harley dealers or independents like Sy's. Cheers, TC
