changed the batteryNow it wont start kicks over ok can hear the fuel pump kick in plenty of spark. will fire ok if fuel is sprayed into throttle body but it appears no fuel from the injectors

any clues or is it a trip to the dealer

Check the fuel line conection at the tank,push up on it as you try to start it.if you are sure the pump is working
the relay should be ok.Cant see how it ties in with changing the battery though.

everythin was fine last time I rode the bike. sat for app 4 months. battery was a bit low so i replaced it ;I went to start it. kicked over ok but no start replaced the fob batteries, still in the same boat. I have checked all the push on around the theottle body all ok there to .It's got me stuffed

where is the quick connect? plenty of fuel just not comming through the injectors

The quick connect is the chrome fitting directly under the tank on left side, & just above ignition coil and should be connected to the fuel line. Make sure it is connected properly, just like an airline quick connection.

unplug the ecm and plug back in after a few minutes and see what happens, could be worth a try

have unpluged the ECM over night  no joy. I will try the conector when next I am off duty,

can the pump stuff up even though you can hear it buz up?

If your still running the original fuel filter that could be an issue.I would check to see if the fuel system is holding pressure
before I went tearing into that though.Also have you checked for error codes yet.

Jesus this a ripper, changed battery for new one, bike cranks but not start, if spray fuel in throttle body it starts

Fob battery changed
All connections at throttle body checked

Just go thru the motions of checking fuses again, battery ground and connections, see what happens

Unplug fuel device if have one

I am also thinking ECM. I had a night train do the same thing by the sounds of it. It felt like it was about to start but just couldn't quite get there. I had the luxury of having 3 bikes all the same model, I pulled the ECM and associated security components from one of the other bikes and installed them to the bike that wouldn't start and she started.

Well guys I think this old fart needs a hearing aid. Like I said I turn on the ingition hear what I thought was the fuel pump pressuring up but still no fuel.

My old mate Piker comes around and said he could not hear the fuel pump working.

Bullshit said I listen? Turn on the ingition and sure enough that noise that I thought was the pump comes in.

So it turns out changing the battery had nothing to do with starting. Coincidently the fuel pump shat it's self at the same time.
