Does anybody know if  the original nighster solo seat will fit on a 07' 883C ?

Need a solo seat fro when the dragon stays home.

Not 100% sure but I doubt it, I know that there are different seats depending on whether you have the 3.3gal or 4.5gal tank and the Nightster has the 3.3 whereas the "C" has the 4.5. Because you are putting a seat designed for a 3.3gal tank on a bike that has a 4.5gal the front of the seat would probably hit the tank. The opposite may work, ie Sportster C seat on Nightster but would no doubt have a gap remaining from the extra space for the tank.

have you checked the spare parts catalogue .. it should be listed there and if so should state what bikes it fits?

NO the solo seat WILL NOT fit on a 1200 Custom, it will only fit on Sportsters with a Small Tank

Yep. Won't fit. Had to get mine modified when I put the C tank on my R. Had to get the front of the plastic cut back and restretched to allow it to go forward enough to bolt on. Ergo Seats did it for me at no charge. "All part of the service", he said.

Any ideas where i can get a good solo seat that dosent cost an absoule fortune?

Actually guys, the stock Nightster seat WILL fit the EFI (2007 and Up) 883C & 1200C. The Nightster is designed with a gap between the seat and the tank... so even though the bike has a small tank the seat is actually the same fit as a Custom seat and will fit the C's.
If getting a new seat for a Nightster either a seat for the 4.5gall tanks can be used (and there will be no gap) or a seat for the 3.3gall tank (and you keep the gap).
