Some of you may know that i've recently ordered a new Iron, but having paid it off quicker than I thought, i'm know on the fence with the forty eight...
My only problem is, I HATE that tank designs.

I'm waiting to get a 2015 model so was wondering if anyone could shed any light on how often HD update the colour options and tank designs. 
Obviously the knew ones with the big FORTY EIGHT are different to the 'Sportster' ones of 2012...

They'll usually unveil the new lineup around august-september, so not long now. In any case it wouldn't be an awfully expensive job to get the 48 tank resprayed though, it's tiny!

Try the H-D Custom Paint sets in the parts and accesories catalogue if you want something different .

Haha, China - you're not far wrong... It's not so much changes of mind, I settled for the Iron thinking I couldn't afford the 48, but now it looks like I may be able to so really i'm just looking at what I originally wanted.

The mind changes on parts what mainly due to reading negative stuff towards my selections. In an ideal world I'd have V&H short shots (based on looks) but people say you get trouble from the fuzz etc... That was alls tuff I hadn't thought of.
All just a learning curve as I chose stuff based on appearance & limited knowledge.
