Okay guys I'm relatively new to the forum, but I'm picking up my ride in august, and keen to do a solid ride in September, so I thought it might be a good opportunity for the banana benders to get together and ride, drink some brews, talk shit, and ride some more. Here's the plan, tell me your thoughts.
Kick off at Chinderah BP Servo on the hwy on Thursday 4th September 8:30am
head through to murwillumbah, up numinbah valley and out to Canungra/tambourine and further north west to Springfield lakes, into Brisbane - toowong for a break. Onto mt Nebo and continue north westish and through the glasshouse mtns nasho, take the twistys through montville and head East, finishing up at the sunny coast, Maroochydore. Accomodation at cotton tree tourist park or a motor inn, beers and dinner at the duporth ave pub.
Friday next day continue back inland to yandina and take the back way up to Hervey Bay, once again, beers and dinner, accomodation at Urangan motor inn or similar.
Saturday day 3 part ways and go home to sunny coast, brissy, goldy or wherever.
Just throwing it out there and open to better ideas. I'm keen to go riding with a decent crowd, get away from the mrs for a weekend and meet some forum locals. I've learnt more off here from you lot than anywhere, and I reckon the idea of a national forum meet has got legs too.
Lemme know what you reckon.
Thats one I'm going on.We'll be travelling east in a zig zag pattern,to Tamborine on the 5th Sept. Then everybody buggers off in all directions to go home.I go nth about 1200k's to get home. Yeah, meet up somewhere after the 5th Sept. See what happens anyway...I'll be solo
Nothing conflicting at all, your dates fit in great. I'm in the area riding solo and thought the idea of meeting up after the 5th Sept is spot on. I'll be staying near Yandina at Maroochy River, fits in fine? You are in the area at the same time, great!! Been trying to meet HD Forum members for years, but because of me living up Nth Qld, has sort of prohibited that. Whatever,if ya wanna meet up,fine,if ya dont, nuther time.
