Hi All,   I need to get the hadlight nacelle off by 2010 roadking, the manual says to prize the black plastic cover off the steering head lock where the key goes in to lock the steering.  It then says to remove the two screws under it and lift that cover off.  My problem is there arent two screws under it there seems to be two Rivets or similar under it. Anyone had experience with this.  I managed to get the headlight nacelle off anyway but interested to know why no screws as per manual but rivets or similar instead.   thanks Steve

mate they are screws but when Harley install them they twist the heads off.fucked if I understand it but was told this when I asked my Harley mechanic, after they put some beach bars on mine, you need to tap them around anti clockwise with a pointed punch but will need new ones to put back in ..Hope this helps

Many thanks Gidgi, that clears it up nicely, I'll stuff around with them and get some new screws, I thought they might be some sort of rivets that needed drilling out. Maybe it's something to do with security I dunno. Thanks again.
