    So...

I am in the market for a bike table lift.  I bought one already, but it's shit, and it's going back for a full refund.   It was off eBay called a MotoMax Table Lift.  Stay away from that shit!!  I mean... the lift itself is not bad... but the quality is shit.  Trouble is, it's about the only one I could find that is long enough to fit my bike.

SO.... If you have a table lift, tell me about it - Good or Bad - as I need to know.  :)

    Cheers

Hi Mongrel, Did you get it from Newcastle. If so I was going to buy one about 18 months ago from them. I asked a few questions regarding length etc and what they told me , Contradicted what was on their web site. I queried that and they did not like that and got abusive.
What exactly was wrong with yours, How were you not happy?
    cheers

I have a Kendon Cruiser Lift. Very well made, strong, stable and of very high quality. If you have limited space and want something that can be easily folded up and stored then this is definitely the go. Lots of accesories also like frame jacks, service trays, drain pans etc.

bought mine for $250 bucks. It was to short as well so I just welded some 6 mil plates on it, painted em and changed the wheel brace thingy to one I bought new for $40 .

good for the price I reckon

Thanks guys - Keep em coming!

The lift I bought was a good length, but the problems are many...

    1) The Ram  leaks oil like a bitch.
    2) The clamp the holds the wheel is fubar
    3) I can't lift the table too well because the handle hits
    4) Screws missing and stripped.

See the pics attached - I cracked the shits and they are picking it back up today.  Fuckem!  It's a peice of shit.

So now I need one that is long enough for my Fat.  Most of them are 1800 and that's too short.  I need one that is 2200.

Guess its gonna come down to how much ya want to spend cause looks as if they range from $250 - $2000. I cant come to spending $2000 when its just me fucking around in the shed occasionally. Be different if i was doing mates bikes all the time or doing it as a business.
But if i had me time over id prob go mid range for about $900. there seems to be some good ones out for that price.

Mongrel paid 1650.00 for mine new ended up 2100.00 delivered from Qld to WA not sure what they are worth now, I  tried that cheap shit before this one and should have brought the better one first as there is a major difference in quality and performance

Not all that high but an easy shed build lift that utilises your trolley jack as the lift

So stupidly, I am still in the market for a lift. I like the look of the Kendon, but it looks like it would tip over easy. How stable are they?

    Mongrel

I've had my Kendon for over a year and its the best piece of kit I've bought. Ive had my 45wl, sportster and WG up and no problems. Traded my WG in on a breakout and I've had the BO up to change pipes and clutch cable no issues at all. Next upgrade is cams - all of which would have been impossible without my kendon. I wrote a review on this forum shortly after I bought it - http://www.hdforums.com.au/Default.aspx?tabid=71&forumid=37&postid=509570&view=topic

    My opinion still hasnt changed.

    Cheers
