Yeah they do look good, but they are just way too loud, and real Cop magnets!

Liamray that is a cool bike. You have redeemed yourself in my books.

As for the ops question: no I don't. I don't even own a sporty. That probably doesn't help you much

it will be very flat down low and sound not so good , straight out pipes can loose up to 20-30% torque right were you ride normally and 1 3/4 header pipe is large on a 1200 bike compared to 1600-1700 cc , will run rich at cruseing range due to over exhausting etc , not nice , i base these comments on haveing to try and tune maybe 50 bikes with straight out pipes , they are designed to run with with x amount of back pressure , cheeres

Thanks Fat it's the bike I've always wanted to own even if it took 40yrs to find it!

And dyno you're dead right mate, I tried putting a set of baffles in them to quieten them and give me some backpressure (because I like the look of them) but it didn't make that much difference, they are still way too loud and my lower end power isn't what it should be.

Trouble is in finding a set pipes that will still give me a decent note and the performance plus look half decent. I've looked V&H, Cobra, Freedom and a stack of others and I like some of their exhausts but the trouble is they won't give you any data on Db ratings, so that makes it hard to know which ones will work and which ones won't??????????????
