Can I fit Gilles levers myself?

    Hi All,

Thinking of getting some adjustable clutch and brake levers from Gilles Tooling, and wondering if there are any issues with fitting them myself?  I remember fitting Pazzo's to my VFR without any trouble, but just wanted to double check that the 2014 Fatboy doesn't have any weirdness that will either prevent me from doing it, or screwing it up.

    Cheers

    Wayne

Thankyou all for your replies...after lots of asking around elsewhere, watching Youtube videos, etc, I plucked up the courage to try it myself.  Only tricky bit was getting the circlips on and off.

I got a pair of Gilles tooling levers, fitted the brake lever no worries, got most of the way through the clutch and found that there is no place to put the shim that comes standard to make the lever a snug fit.  The screw hole is outside the bracket that the lever sits in, and there wasn't a matching one on the Gilles lever.

In short, Gilles levers will NOT fit a 2014 Fatboy.

I have some Roland Sands adjustables on order, will keep people posted, in case anyone else is interested.
