Hey guys, been reading a lot later about the 96 cu in compensator and the 'clunk' noise on start up.  Mine does it only when cold, intend to get it checked out, but if it is ok to ignore, if it doesn't get any worse?  Have also read that the cure is to replace it with the SE version.

My 2010 Fat Boy Lo has always had a noise when starting, all those bikes make big noise when starting.

When it was new it had a strange clunking sound in the primary case when the engine was running, took it back to the dealer they found the compensator was loose bike had only done about 300ks, they fixed it and I havent had anymore issues with the bike.
