Hi guys,

Just recently notice that on my 2013 sporty that third gear seems to really crash/clunk when going into gear, all others are fine, just third.  A mate rode the bike and noticed the same thing.  Bike has just under 10k on the clock and nothing was said at the last service.  Any ideas, is this something that can be adjusted out?

1991  up too no trap door models to about 2007 have a adjustment that you must do in behind the pri chain its in the factory manual & is done in third gear same as 5 speed evo & twincam boxes , not to sure on the later models but i will find out soon as i'am build a hot rod 1250 2009 model for a drag racer fellow friend that races for Trivett, 1st check that there is the same free movement up & down before gear engagement in all gears , but esp in 3rd there should be the same amount of free travel lever movement  before engagement  up & down in 3rd or something is not adjusted right , buy a factory manual if you are going to keep this bike
