Does anyone know where I could get a 27 tooth transmission sprocket (front pulley) for a 96 road king?
Try Google "Harley 27 tooth" and click on images, follow the links on the pictures to the websites the pictures come from. Why 27 tooth? Belts don't like going around too small a curve, why not use a bigger rear sprocket if its the gearing your after.
I'm not after gearing, just trying to fit a belt and rear sprocket that came from a softail. I have installed the belt and rear sprocket, and have tried a sportster 27 tooth pulley which fits, just. But the sportster pulley is too narrow for a road king. That is why I want a 27 tooth front pulley that fits the road king.
Try what I said before with a google search, the images should give you an indication if the pulley is wide enough, think Andrews sell front pulleys of a few different sizes
