I'm new to this Harley stuff so please go easy on me!

 

I have a 2011 48. Just bought drag bars for it but upon installation they won't fit. Only 24'' long :S The brake master cylinder fouls on the fork top!

I've done some more research and looks like I need about a 28''-30'' bar.

I've searched Harley parts finder but can't find what I want.

 

Basically I want shortest drag bars that will fit with minimal amount of pullback.  I don't like the really long ones with huge amounts of pullback!

Can someone guide me in the right direction and or give me harley part number or link to where I can buy another set!

 

If anyone wants a set of Biltwell 24'' drag bars I have a set for sale haha.

Search for broomstick bars, 0 rise and 0 pull back basically... Or cut down a broom stick and paint it black hahaha

I actually ran a 580mm broomstick bar on my Iron for a while, I loved it......................everything was tight as fuck though, the master cylinder was basically an inch or two away from the centre clamp!

I have drag bars on my 48, the solution is to get a braided break line and that will sort you right out. Got mine here: http://www.helperformance.com.au/hel-brake-lines-for-harley-davidson-xl1200-x-48-2010-2011.html Great quality stuff, only found that the standard 48 brake line from them is a little long as it is for standard bars and does not count for the dropped bars. I have a black 48 and ordered a red cable, get tons of comments on the cable

Sometimes Harley has genuine parts which are exactly what I'm looking for.. like these. 0" rise, 4" pullback (may be too sweeped for you?) and 29" wide.
