The Run to the Wall

    Greetings,

I spend countless hours on the computer, yet when it comes to keeping up wich ya'll, I burnout fast, and I'm not much of a social media guy.

However, from time to time, my interest and curiosity peaks, or I have something worthy to share - which is what I prepare in those countless hours.

Your ANZAC Day falls close to my birthday, which is an easy reminder, and I need more reminders with each B'day. Most, or all of you know we Yanks recently celebrated our Memorial Day, and a few hundred thousand + of us did so for the Protest Ride in Washington D.C.  I rode 3,000 miles to meet with a friend from Arizona and then join the National Veterans Awareness Ride, aka NVAR, aka Run to The Wall. We left Auburn California on May 14 with thirty bikes, stopped at Vet homes, hospitals, cemeteries, and memorials each day, and arrived in D.C. on May 24 with sixty three bikes to join a larger "pack." A great group and equally great time.

Attached is one photo of riders with Merle, a Pearl Harbor survivor who led us in song: God Bless America, the other of riders stretched out in West Virginia.

I've updated my new web site with blogs and lots of photos: www.harleytracks.com

Excellent work by everyone associated with the rides that you do to keep friendship and memories alive and well.

Very important to remember what everyone has been through, giving support to people who need it.

Keep up the good work and enjoyment whilst doing it.
