i have a short arsed friend that rides a 1200 sporty custom [2008 ]...now she has had rose lowered to the point where she has a shitty ride,cant push her bike back as she is still sitting when standing. so im open to all ideas.

she has been told about air ride ,this that and eveything else.shes only 5 ft tall in high heels so any ideas would be gr8

go rigid with frame mods and a sprung seat. probably not the answer you want, but i cant think of any other way of getting the bike low enough for anyone that short

legend/Arnott kit will get it down to 9.5 eye to eye when aired out, looking at about $1000 for an arnott kit, $1600 for a legend kit + install (although it's straight forward)

Licks 10 inch "shocks" are 10 inch eye to eye, I have these, they plain suck and are hard as a rock. Bike looks good slammed though haha. Seat height is 23 inches on my 48.

Lowering blocks on the stock shocks can go from 1 inch lower to 1.75inch seat height. Get these anywhere.

Biltwell and a few others make 10 inch struts, plain sadistic.

Nothing looks more potato than a bike with both shocks and a spring seat to me. But each to their own.
