Thanks a bunch hilly, daggs and ando. Keep the good advice coming.

At what point do upgrades to the top end start to stress the bottom end? Read on some of the USA forums that at around 110+ hp, 115+ fp torque, strengthening the bottom end on a Harley twin cam engine should be considered.

But the Harley/se 103 stage 4 kits are similar to what I'm considering only a few less cubic inches but perhaps slightly more aggressive headwork.

Reliability is important to me as are costs!

Well, my new floor is in, and teh Table Lift will be here monday!

Then, I start pulling her down in prep for the upgrade!  Should be fun!!

    That's good to know ando...

Daggs with your 106/585 build, are you running your oem fuel injectors? If so, how close to their limits are they?

Yes I am, how close to their limits? No idea what so ever.
It's been dyno'd and runs sweet that's all can tell you.
I haven't done any head work at this stage and not in any rush to but when I do that's when I'll be boring my throttle body or fitting a larger one and looking at injectors etc
