cant seem to find any decent saddlebags in Oz.

no osprey, no leatherworks, nothing half decent here...

and it costs a fortune to get bags sent fom the US.

where do aussies get bags from?- or do they just pay through the nose?

Years ago there was a bloke called Mr Hides the saddle bags which have been on my shovel for the better part of 30 years come from him. Mine are throw overs which l have modified a tad but they still hold beers and a tooth brush

For the love of god,  don,t go anyware near a QLD, internet,  shyster operation called (then..)  Shark leathers..( I didn,t get the pun, at the time, to my shame..)      that were advertising saddlebag,s that (they said)  were full grain leather (mentioned, about 6 time,s in the ad,)  that turned out.. 100% synthetic, show bag quality..

I got one made about five years ago from a Saddlery. Cost then was around $270.
