hey guys,

im toying with the idea of changing from my deluxe to a steetglide. Im chasing more comfort for when i ride[ as i have a busted up back].

was just after any info from guys that have made the change from a softail to a glide.

Love my Street Glide . With a busted back though , maybe throw 13" aftermarket shocks on one .

Yeah, second that. I put 12" Ikons on and wish I went 13".

Very comfy bike. Plenty of bits to add if you need more comfoft as well.

whats the go with the shocks ?.do they not have enough travel or just shit.
whats a new set of 13 in shocks worth? as they have pensioned me off i really need to make it count now

Harley Hammock seat would be worth looking at .12" shocks standard on Street Glide , 13" on Ultra . Longer shocks would have to be a bit more comfortable on our great roads !!

well, i can admit that the newer shocks work well[ as least on the demo bike anyway. and i went looking for the mx track around gasolene alley & didn,t take long.]

and what a difference the streetglide is. they ride like they are on rails and the abs is bloody gr8

I have full exhaust and no vibes on footboards . I worry that the speakers in pannier lids will leak . The shift pedals can be 1" longer with HD parts . Wind deflectors China .
