Got some more time off end of this year and Jan . Might be able to sneak over for another ride . I,m sure those who went in Jan would be up for another loop . 2 changes this time . Want to go up from Bright to Hotham , and anti clockwise from Jindabyne for the day ride . So maybe leave Yack first morning and stay at Orbost ?

I should be right for another lap of the Mountains count me in, don't care what way we go mate if its as good as the first Snowy run
you would be mad if you didn't fit this ride in.

Sounds good Tim. Did a similar run about two years ago. Great riding country.

Looking at the stage Orbost to Jindabyne, maybe this time we can head across to Bombala via the Bonang Hwy
via Delegate, this looks good on the map, maybe someone that has been across that way can give us a heads up.

Also the Omeo Hwy (below) is completly sealed as of April this year into Omeo, so this could also be an option when we

leave Yackandandah.

Food for thought ,,,, last time we rode the Cann Valley hwy, ie, (Cann River to Bombala ),, another mountain road, the Bonang Hwy, ie, ( Orbost to Bombala), is another option.
The reason I mention this,,, a good mate of mine owns the Delegate Hotel, (a great one pub country town ),, and would make us very welcome !!!! See pic , ( the blue line is the Bonang Hwy) ..

PS.. Its aprox 500 kms from Yack to Delegate coming down the Great Alpine Road !! Cheers

Being new to your rides, how are the days planned along with the accommodation? By the looks of it, it will be a lengthy ride so I need to factor in some time lines, costs etc due to my personal circumstances. So at this point, what is the time from start to finish at Yack?

I'm looking forward to this ride and meeting up with you guys. Keep the info coming.

I reckon I'll ride with the SA crew to Lascelles, do the overnighter, then sob into my morning coffee as I wave goodbye before riding back home the next day. Can't plan any further at this stage. 

Plan sounds good Tim,, For ease of picking other interested Vic riders,, they have the opportunity to join the ride at either , Lascelles, (Sat 18th), or Yackandandah, (Sun 19th).

With regard overnighter on Monday 20th,, There seems to be interest from Vic Gippsland riders,, if they show interest in the next week or so ,, Orbost , (where we had lunch last run), would be a good pickup stop, (Yack to Orbost approx 4hrs),,, if not, we carry on to Jindabyne way ,, and stay, (option), at my mates Pub at Delegate, (Yack to Delegate approx 6 1/2 hrs),,, then we carry on with your ride plan from the 21st onwards ... Others blow ins can meet up at Jindabyne ...

This is like a trial run of the National meet ride !!!!

So,, any forum members keen on going on a great ride through the Snowys ,, post up so Tim and the boys can get approx numbers,, and lock in accomadation etc !!!!

I'll be looking to go from Sunday night thru to tue night and ride home from jindy. Will possibly bring a mate or two as well m
