With regard what road from Yack to Omeo, (Great Alpine Rd or Omeo Hwy), then on to Orbost,, you blokes can decided that over a few drinks at your stop at Yack on Sunday night ,, as I will be joining the ride at Orbost !! Either road will be a great ride !!!

It would be good in the first week of January to get approx confirmed numbers ,, to prepare the pubs for our arrival !!!

So,, any members and riders that can't do the whole ride,, and want to meet up along the way , at the stops,, (for a drink or a days ride) , you will be most welcome !!!

Just spent last 2 days riding down over Cabramurra, Corryong down to bright, over Hotham to Orbost.

At Eden at the moment. Riding the entire length of South  Coast today to Cronulla.

Gotta say I love the road from Omeo to bruthen. It's as good as bike rd then any I've rode in Aus.

Hope the weather is similar in these areas in a few weeks Chriso !!! Take care on the coast road,, the traffic , I've been told, is pretty heavy around the Batemans Bay area !!! Enjoy your ride,, Cheers ..

Are we there yet?

Thought I'd post up an update of the confirmed overnight stays  for the ride ..    Most people will be back on deck by the 5th of Jan,,  so to get confirmed numbers , (and blow in's along the way),  by the end of next week ,(say the 9th ), would be a good idea !!!    Hope you all had a good new years !!   Cheers lads !!!!

I'm in for the 18th and 19th at this stage. I'll ride home from Orbost on the 20th. Got to get back for work.

+1. I will try to make Adelaide to Lascelles overnighter. Won't be able to confirm until the 15th when I get back from work trip to Indonesia. Happy to take a swag and camp out the back of the pub if rooms are all gone.

I'm booked into the pubs at yack and orbost. Publican at yack isn't holding on to all rooms for our group and suggested bookings if people want to confirm having a room. Good rates at both.

Just booked room at Yack, for Sunday 18th .. As Fabat said, there not holding rooms, you have to book to guarantee a room.. That being said, there is plenty of rooms at the moment .. If you know you are going to share a room with a mate, give them a ring , 02- 60271210 , as it will be cheaper !! There is a bungalow room that sleeps 7 for $210 , as an example .. The Orbost Club Hotel, have plenty of rooms, but give them a ring if you want, 03- 51541003 .
