So finally my custom seat from Lepera arrived.

It's beautifully made, exactly how I had envisaged it and is super comfy (so much better than the stock seat).  The kick at the back means I no longer feel like I'm slipping off the back of the seat under heavy acceleration.

The workmanship is excellent.  They did exactly as I asked and I'm super happy with it.

Total cost was $351 - which was the charcoal sparkle metal flake seating area, diamond stitch, white piping etc.  Shipping to AU was $80 (priority USPS).  When I placed the order on 1 May Lepera told me the date it would ship and they were spot on.  It shipped on 22 May and I received it on 28th May.  

It won't be everyone's taste with the sparkly seat inlay but I love it (and I'm pretty sure that nobody else will have this combo on a 48!).

 

 

Very nice, I still love my barebones.

The hump comes in handy once you up the power on them that's for sure. On the stocker you nearly end up on the rear guard.

Very nice mate. Always wanted a cafe racer seat as well. Anyone know if they can be made to take two people or know of any brands that sell a two-up cafe racer seat?

Yeah I love the LePera seats. I also have a Bare Bones. My biggest gripe is how slippery it is. It's actually pretty bad. I may have to get it reupholstered with a suede or something a bit stickier.

ConR - yeah my sparkly bit is a bit shiny too, but I'm held in by the kick up bit at the back so it's not too bad at all.

LePera workmanship is really really really good. I'm super impressed.
