there is 1 bike cop down here in the Illawarra that has it in for HD riders , bars , exhaust , lights everything... the others dont seem to care.. i get pulled into RBTs several times no issues... even had 1 copper said nice bike jesus its loud.. i said " been hit before hopefully if they cant see me they can hear me " he laughed and i was on my way... lets hope we dont get more down this way ..

Was only looking at my EPA test results this morning when he pulled us over in 2013.
Back in the days when he was haunting the Singleton end of the Putty Road.

Don't worry about sending a decoy ahead either, he'll still pull you all over.
He loves mass production, keeps his quota up.

His more of a pain in the arse than anything.
Mufflers on, mufflers off, mufflers on, mufflers off.

This sucks to say the least! No fun riding, seeing cops and expecting to get nailed for noise, and no fun riding a quiet HD either.

I have just fitted V&H 3" slash cut slipons with quiet baffles on my 2016 Fatboy S. Now it sounds like a Harley.

So now debating whether to take 'em off as I just don't need that hassle of taking the bike to get EPA tested, but enjoy the sound. I have only ridden around the block. I think I have wasted about $800 getting these pipes and a pain to fit by the way.

As someone said - remove the V&H logo, and also spray the chrome end pieces that stick out from the black heat shields black and the pipes will look almost stock.

It seems where ever I ride I come across many Harleys with aftermarket pipes that are really loud, so am thinking to risk it as I fitted quiet baffles, but still way over 94dB.
