Hey     a couple year,s back i converted my front wheel on the 82 FXS , from it,s original 19 in, to a 9 spoke alloy 16 in (same as rear..) i kept all the original fork,s, brake,s ect  ( with a modified Rollies wide triple clamp kit)       anyway i,ve still got the 19 in speedo drive unit in front, and was wondering if 16 in drive,s of the period (or later ?) are the same ext dimension,s and what,s the correct ratio speedo for the 16 in drive ?    (when i bought the aftermarket speedo i have now,  for the original stock front 19 in, they sold me a 2240:60 which i think is for a  21 in front ... so yea..blind leading the blind)  so  if anyone has any info    thank,s...  Ben.

Thank,s for the info...the part,s shop where i got the speedo from  must have had a crystal ball cause i didn,t get the 16in front, till year,s later..        now if only i had,nt lost the speedo cable shifting camp recently..oh well.     cheer,s   Ben
