My suspension seems bit too soft? Bottoms out etc?

Have new 08 FXDC, suspension is very soft and bouncy, figured that's how they are for cruising, but realising now that it is maybe a bit too soft??

Front fork seem to go clunk and bottom out if I hit a big pothole.
Rear seems to sit pretty low when I'm on it (I'm 90kg's) and bobs up and down & scrapes a fair bit. 2-up it's even worse.

What do you reckon? What's the costs involved to upgrade to firmer/better handling kit??

As always, appreciate your 2-cents worth!

SORRY, now I have an even dumber question, how do you remove the tank emblem/badge on HD as pictured.
I presume it's glue only no screws etc? Heat her up a bit with hairdryer and tear off you reckon???

I ride 2up 99% of the time and found the rear way too soft, picked some Progressive 440's off one of our forum members and shit they are good, then did the front end, Ikon Progressive springs, Gold valve Emulators and heavy shockie oil...........................sweet.

LEGENDS, good on ya' boys for all your input - thank ALL.
Gotta' do first service so will see if we dail that spring in a bit then. Failing that, might look at modding her out a bit as above.

Thanks KiwiDave, will run with that this arvo, sounds like there is going to be alot of glue/sticker left behind, waddya' reccomend for that??
(as will remove the reflectors etc while I'm at it).

    Alright lads.

About seven schooners under the belt, spliff tucked behing the ear, hair dryer in hand.

    I'm heading for the garage.

    Out.

Nice one - it's always a good idea to be properly off your head before attempting any kind of mods to your Harley Davidson.

Got to garage, unable to get key to work to open it, turns out missus has changed the locks, went to my other garage and knocked off the joint.

Ran out of beer and went back to the fridge.

    Harley Davidson - unharmed.

Update: I've got the rear reflectors off, just needed more elbow grease, found some pretty strong bug remover that worked to cut through the solid stuff, and then used WD40 to get the residual off.

    Looks awesome. Big difference.

Still preparing to have another crack at the tank badges, got half way through on both sides (fishing line keeps breaking). Still worried bout heating it up too much
