Big difference between a standard and a custom. If some fugger is selling that as a custom, he obviously knows fuckall.

Still good for the price and as long as your happy but I would be giving seller a revving

I have the S.E Slip ons. Look ok and Sound Ok. & a hell of a lot easier to swap over to stock pipes in case you ever get an EPA Notice in the mail.
Keep ya stock pipes just incase, No matter what you put on.
    Just My Opinion.

The balance pipe on the Sporty, was earlier models. I had an 09, and did not have. I think up to 03/04 had them. I know 06 did not. You will sort ya self out. Just enjoy the ride.

late chime in from Perth WA

    That's a 100% Softail Standard

I sold my one owner ( me !) 2008 105th Anniversary Softail Custom anniversary well over a year ago now

2 tone Copper and Black , an " Aussie from new " bike which went with all the stock OEM stuff and Khromeweks freeflow mufflers , K&N air kit , factory oil cooler , TTS tuned etc etc

Best offer i could get for it here in Perth WA was $20K , such was the market at the time due to shitty condition imports muddying the waters. Several indy shops in WA had shitloads of ratty recent US imports in stock.

The local HD dealers even tried to steal it for way under 20K " due to the price of the imports " ! Skuntz..

If you're happy then all good , but it IS an FXST Softail Standard

    For what it's worth , I now have "an import" , a 2008 CVO Springer , so I'm far from anti-import !!

Just picked up my softail custom non import for $16500. Buyers market and if people are willing to wait and willing to walk away during negotiations I see no need to go through the hassle of import at the moment.

    Sorry for the hijack mate

lots of local bikes are now being offered for sale at realistic prices, I think the imports have had an influence on this, only by showing that people have choice and won't be dictated to by a monopoly.
