Hi again, I was quoted 500 bucks to have the above bars fitted to my 2014 Street Bob. Thats 200 more than the bars themselves cost. I know the internal wiring makes it a bit more involved but is it pretty straight forward to do ones self? If those switch block wires are just plug and play under the tank surely it cant be that hard. Or can it?

Howcome my spell check or cut and paste doesnt work on here? Apple thang??

    Ta cool

Hey mate its pretty simple i switched mine out for street slammers, the hardest part is feeding the wires back through the new bars. Just work out and easy way like a small sinker on some fishing line feed it in one hole jiggle it through till it comes out where you want it then tape your wires onto that and pull it through. Take you time and be sure not to just yank it as hard as possible and you'll find its pretty easy. The wires are all simple plug and play just tucked inside the gromet on the neck of the frame. Like i said i did mine first time doing it myself and it only took me about an hour from start to finish

Give it a go yourself and save some coin mate, keep us posted and some pics after

Much easier with the newer bikes like yours as they have the smaller connectors (I believe) bit of a pain but nothing hard, just time consuming

Thanks, I'll give it a shot now I know its pretty straight forward, the dealer said 4hrs and 500 bucks, at that price its like they don't want to do it.

I replaced mine on a 2011 Street Bob, the connectors were a pain in the ass, i ended up getting rid of them & soldering them back together. I was lucky that all the cables were lone enough to reach with the new bars.
