Harley lifter

    Why do all these DIY guys wear thongs? Great idea, have you considered a lock for it so the load isnt constantly on the ram? All lifts have a locking device of some sort for safety.

    I have since altered the lift angle of the pivot point and added a plateform to the top of the lift which gives a higher sturdier lift. It seems to hold 400kg ok. The locking device is 2 pine blocks under the frame. Once i have achieved the lift i lower the structure to the blocks. DIY guys were thongs cause we can lol actually i mafde this in the middle of summer and the Western District gets mighty hot. I will post a pic with the upgrades.
