Hi guys gals, I'm wondering if the collective wisdom can help me out with some info here. I've got an aftermarket standard softail exact replica from a really good aussie manufacturer Attitude motorcycles www.attitudemotorcycles.com.au they make machine cnc ANYTHING and have an amazing range of stock at REALLY competitive prices. Be sure to tell em Mick the Brickie put you on to them and Andy will give you a discount or leave a few items off the bill if you buy enough stuff. Anyway I digress Is there anything stopping me from bolting the 88ci Twin Cam 1450cc 2003 B engine out of an FXST motor straight to my frame? If so what would I need to do to make it happen??

This is the basic frame with swingarm. Any suggestions? Or will it be pretty close with not too much modification?

Cheers all and thanks in advance for sharing what money can't buy - knowledge.

    NR

PERTHHOG Why bother posting if you've got nothing to add? You're a performance poster and I'm not so why step in and bum out my thread if you've got nothing to add?[ why waste the space with your mega insightful comment? So how many threads have there been? Give us some numbers bro not just a mindless few strokes of the keyboard. Give us a graph or if you're rating over a 5 on the out of ten gauge as far as pissed off by people asking questions you've seen before just pass that thread on by and don't be irritating to the guy that's trying to learn and gain knowledge. b]

SPEEDSTER - I've asked Andrew from Attitude and he says it's a no but others say there are mounts and brackets that you can get like ones from Vulcan
and there are others I'm just trying to pick the communal brain. There have been some great ideas in similar threads - PERTHHOG probably knows all about
Em and we should see them on his upcoming graphs of how many of these types of posts there are each ?? Month?? Year?? I'm sure his angst will do any of
his work justice and stop the likes of me and those like me. Shame he couldn't just post a link to one of the 100's?? 1000?? Of similar Fitment posts!!!! Ah well.

to me he just asked a simple question as you started the same thread only one page back in which he added some positive helpful info for you. It just gets a little off track if your not keeping the original thread going and if you follow your own advice you can just let it go. Anyway back to your build, late model Evos are a great reliable motor and with some research into performance options go real well couple it with a baker frankenfurter tranny gives you a unique look with some good zip plus easy to build etc some years back now a guy put a TC motor in an FXR from memory it was not a straight up easy job but it was a good read try to search for that for some info

NIRVANA RIDE don't get you knickers in a not ,as far as this thread you asked basically the same thing 13 days ago that's what I was referring too
and I did give you some insight in to your question ,and did mention who made the adaptors ,and as far as being pissed off I think your the one
that has a issue with that rant above you wont find every detail of any conversion on a forum/net the person who is doing it will
have to just suck it and see sometimes and do there own mods to make it all fit , performance poster its taken 5 years to get to that ,
some get that in 6 months of dribble oh and that frame does not look like a exact copy of a oem softail frame ,a kraftech is alot closer
    IMHO

With my apologies PERTHHOG, but in my opinion they are two very different problems with two very different sets of
solutions so I split the two up
JACKO88 I know full well that I'm not going to get all the answers for my questions on a forum and I don't know
how you got that impression but "they sell a bracket for that" is helpful to a point it means - yes can be done but there
are literally hundreds of brackets on both sites I got directed to. A tiny bit more info would be great like if you know that
there is a bracket then tell me which one - or if you wanna be really helpful a link would be sensational. I try my best to
help people on forums as best and most comprehensively as I can. On the firearms forum a have helped 100's of people
and guess what.... They often had the same questions.
Anyway no dramas I'll just do what I have and that's ask questions off the cyber world but in the real one

    Thank guys.
