berliegh bars

    hi all i recently got a quote from a harly custom shop, i want the 2 inch berliegh bars with a 8 inch pull back along with cables and stainless braiding lines i think they are. handle bars alone are $975.......wtf......... this does not seem rite?

    As arlen ness have a simular bar for $230 in a 1 1/4 bar , in all a total of 2 k for bars cable ext and cable covers plus labour .... sheeeesh i say

    that would be a little top heavy but around the money.

     as you  are going for the 2 inch bars there is your cost blow out right there.

    burleigh are on the expensive side but they do all their shiny stuff out of polished stainless.

    Schmick costs moola.

    The cost would never be recouped. A lot of 2 inch bars look out of proportion on some front ends, but its your cash....

    Not cheap but great Australian product had 3 sets on different bikes no problems

    Plus I think Burleigh offer a 7 year warranty. Had em on my Dyna, quality bars. I have Wild1 chubby apes on my Road King and they seem just as good.

    I had a set similar made with straight back risers in 13/4 drilled and tapped on top for a tacho didn't suit me they fit standard cables as well you can have then for $400 plus postage
