Hey I'm Joe, I'm 23 and sold my car and just bought my first Harley. Got a 2010 iron. 

Bought it with the pipes (Bassani sweepers I think), SE intake and drag bars. 

Ive put forwards on her and got a seat on the way from sick saddles. Also eyeing off gauge relocation kits.

Had white heat wrap when I got it but took it off, the heat must have cooked some of the paint off so I bought some black wrap (dark grey) and wrapped them back up better than what it was.

Gday buddy, I had the same stuff on my exhaust and it cracked at one of the brackets, I was told by an exhaust guy the the heat builds up on long rides and can make the steel brittle. It cracked under the tape and only found it becausr I had to adjust the pipe, it was moving around. Apparently its ok on short trips. But it looked great... Bugger cant find the pic

Hey asshy cheers for the heads up, I've read that it shortens the life of your pipes, the paints screwed under it and I like the look so I need to make the decision to get them repainted or a different set of pipes haha.
