Thinking about changing out the new sporty to a chopped rear fender with the slim line LED tail/stop , do any of the WA forum members know if the side plate holdes are legal in wait awhile

No one has replied to your post mate, sorry. I am in NSW, and can confirm that side mounts are not legal in this state. I owuld be surprised if it was any different in WA. That said, I have a side mount on my Iron and love the looks. Run the risk as they say...TC

Whether it is legal or not, if you like it...............just do it! Hahaha!

The minute you start fucking around with your bike, whether you change exhaust, ride height, bars, engine parts; you've possibly created your very own rideable defect! You can take a conservative approach, leave her alone and just enjoy it and ride it! If you aren't too fussed about the odd fine here and there, customise the shit out of it and make it your own.
