I would like some advice on the subject please. The softail springer badboy 1995 I got for a couple of weeks can run on reserve only -- the petrol was full. While turning to on position the bike stopped so I turned on the reserve again and it worked. The fuel tap is after market and it came with bike. I found out later that it needs a fuel vacuum tap . I've had a good look under the fuel tank , the only hose come off the outlet goes to the back of the carburettor.

I am thinking to remove the fuel tap and put in a new harley fuel tap stock there. However, I need some advice on how to run the vacuum hose and what are the parts that I need
