I have a 2013 fxdf and am thinking of putting a set of S&S 583 cams in

the bike has a SE tuner SE performance breather V&H comp pipe has anyone tride these cams yet  and should i upgrade the valae trian  

Can't speak for the 583's but I love my 585's. Mine are perfect for me I don't do much 2 up riding mostly a lot of higher speed open road riding but they still have heaps of torque. If you are after even more torque then the 583 should be spot on

yeh I rode a 96 cuber with 583 cams, is like a teenage boy having his first root, over before it began

Thanks for the update will keep doing research until the right cams are found I recon I'll get some head work done at the same time

have them in my bike, its what i asked for if ya gunna put bigger bumps in so ya can rev the clacka out of it get ya bottom end set up too. but dont take my advise just my opinion
