  Lifter threads are a bit like oil threads !!
  I like Comp Cams lifters, quiet and cheap.
  Either 850's or the travel limited 875's.
  About $15 ea in the USA.

  I remove the limiters from the S&S

  Check out feulingparts lifters. They are not the cheapest nor most expensive, but they certainly give good value for the quality and results.

  A little noisy, yes.
  But I am running a notoriously noisy Wood's Cam.
  The Gaterman's cost me $150

  I think the majority of Harley cams are ground by Andrews, but Andrews make them to the clients Spec's.
