Hmmm. I had trouble getting proper HD air from the dealers. Plenty of hot air from the sales people only!!!!!!!!!!
I heard that next time ALDI has a sale on bike stuff the air will be cheaper than you can get it anywhere else and still conform to Australian standards!
Like most I have been using the air that is freely available for ever, but this mechanic I know, who inhales a lot of stuff for experimental purposes, says I should stay away from the synthetic stuff. And suggests the organic unadulterated organic air is the way to go. It does get complex in this area but somehow I took it for granted. Anyway certainly has got me thinking.
Looking over your shoulder, eh!?!
My advice to the OP is to refer to his owners manual which states........
Tires are a critical safety component. Contact a Harley Davidson dealer for tire repair or replacement. Improper tire service can adversely affect stability and handling, which could result in Death or Serious Injury.
So by servicing I assume maintaining correct inflation. I'm sure H-D dealers would only ever use approved air. I only ever let an authorised technician work on my bike.
This is the only way I can avoid Death or Serious Injury.
Hope that helps.
What oil should I use in my air?
