Just got my bike back today after having a 302 Cam installed with a Fueling plate pump & lifter kit as well. Extra power is great fun and is alot smoother through the rev range. Is a bit rough at low speed/revs though, so have had to adjust riding style to suit. Have attached dyno for anyone interested.

The pump and plate was recommended by Deano to replace while doing the cam as it could be done as part of the job while they have it apart, nothing wrong with the old one. Sounds like i got sold something I didn't really need. Dunno, maybe this helped with the gain as well. Looks like I should do a bit more research in the future, but Deano seems to know his stuff so went on his recommendation. It was expensive for the amount of gain in the end, but still happy with bike.

Nice gains Riggers!!!! The extra grunt puts a smile on ya dial when ya give it a crack.

Bet that Bobcat exhaust sounds nice and lumpy now mate.

Don't get me wrong the service is A1 at Thundertech and the bike will be going back there. I've only got basic knowledge on the mechanical side, so depend on the experience of others. Like you said lucky the motor should be well lubricated anyway and i do like the best things for her.

Yeah Bashful, went for a good ride today and the cam is awesome, is like getting a brand new bike again with more punch.

cheers Hilly. Yeah it is pretty quiet on the video, but that was deafening in the garage. At idle it's not that loud but when you open it up it sounds awesome.
