O yeah, what about my deadly pointy thing?? Any rules u found on that? Ive tried a few different set ups and this one flows really well so i really dont want to take it off... And it cost $500 so i dont really want to just leave it sitting in the garage and go back to stg1 AC!

Looks to me like it's not even sharp. There's sharper edges on the front of the bike that a pedestrian would hit first. Yeah sure the 1/1000000000 chance some one hits that at a damaging speed say 100k/hr, it wouldn't be pretty, but neither would it if that hit any part of the bike at that speed. Anyway they got the big book, and that big book can write a lot of tickets

Well, the spikes gone. Got a K&N oval pod on now. Looks ok, but I did a smart tune run today and it doesn't flow as well as the spike. So the bike has less performance but at least its compliant, gotta be happy with that!!!angry

I'm sure you could find a number of a/c out there to match the performance if not better that you got from the wimmer spike? Personally I have never found there to be much of a bees dick difference between most performance A/C's. Or maybe you just need to strap a pro charger to it to counteract the loss in power ;)

Maybe im being too pedantic!! The changes to the VEs were on average only 3-4%. So its not huge, but a change is a change!
