What are these made of?

    Can anyone tell me what these are made of? I went to polish and now all I have is scratches. I tried purple polish and it scratched. surface was clean, microfibre cloth used etc. Purple polishes chrome beatifully but not these.

    plastic cheeky

     

    cast iron  or aluminuim  than chromed

    Aluminium alloy isn't it? I've seen people use a REALLY fine grit sandpaper and Mothers aluminum polish with a REALLY soft cloth - not microfibre.

    Bonkers I thought so. Thanks. Off to get aluminium polish now. I'm not sand papering it. Cheers

    Any excuse to get your bike in a pic hey dude. BTW, Some say they are made of Plasticine, but i think they are made from chewing gum!

    is your head light after market ? if so was it easy to wire in ? cheers Pete...and just polish with mothers and a microfibre...works on mine

    Hi Pastrypete. No it's a genuine harley light. I had it put on the bike when I bought it. As for wiring they did it at the store I bought it from. As for mothers you mean mag and alunium polish don't you?
