    Howdy,

i've been looking at getting some 2" extended forward control's for my 2014 FXDWG, i'm 6."2" and think that the 3" extendeds would be a bit of an over-kill for me. HH in S.A can only supply the Kuryakyn, but they have only 3" . As i'm a newbie to HD and "quality" brands i'm hoping someone can give me some advice on some well made 2" extended forward's.

    Thanks Guy's.

I'm sort of new to HD too and can someone tell me what the advantage is of having extended (forward) controls?
Is it just to accomodate taller riders or is it to deliver that classic Harley look when riding?
I'm riding an FXST and got my R licence on a Hyosung GV650 which had the controls more forward than the Softy.
I 'think' I liked the riding position on the GV650 a bit more than the Softy so have I answered my own question?
The Softy isn't uncomfortable at all though, so I wouldn't have thought about adding forward controls.

    Where are you feeling cramped?

I'm 6'7 and do not run extended forwards on my Street bob. Mainly because I run a mustang wide tripper seat which puts me back a fair way.

    Hi,

Nice ride, i same height as you and often ponder 2 or 3" inch forward extensions on my wide glide too, if on freeway often put heel on footpeg so i reckon 3inch probably still manageable

Keep us posted if you go down that path, i only seen the kurakryns before
    Thanks

my 2 bobs worth, I'm 6-5"" and have 3" forwards on my softy, I would like another 2 if I could do it but might start to look a bit silly.
